The Hellinger Institute of DC is an educational institute founded to teach and promote the Family Constellations approach to individual and family issues developed by Bert Hellinger. At the heart of both interpersonal neurobiology and the mindsight approach is the concept of “integration” which entails the linkage of different aspects of a system — whether they exist within a single person or a collection of individuals. Also check out “domains of integration” wonderful. Dr. Siegel is currently clinical professor of psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine where he is on the faculty of the Center for Culture, Brain, and Development and the founding co-director of the Mindful Awareness Research Center.
Fear processing exercise. This is a wonderful exercise for whatever emotion or pain you have that you have tried to overcome or divest yourself of. I considered rewriting it but she states it clearly and beautifully. It helps to have support, I recommend doing this exercise with someone else present if emotions are likely to overwhelm you.
TRE (Tension & Trauma Release Exercise) is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. Created by Dr. David Berceli, PhD, TRE is a muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism. When it is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance. I am a certified teacher of this effective method of releasing trauma.
